About Me

Kami will be a senior at Ball State University. She is studying mass communications and studio art. Following her graduation, she will continue her education by studying emerging media design and development for her master's diploma. 

Kami has had a life-long connection to donation. Her mom had two double-lung transplants in 2008 and 2019. Growing up with the process of organ donation led her to volunteer with both Indiana Donor Network and Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates.

Kami was drawn to Indiana Donor Network because she felt like she had a lot of knowledge and experience with the other side of donation - and the entire workplace felt like home.

In this role, Kami supports the marketing and communications department’s strategic plan to ensure that the resources and actions of the department are effective and aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. Focusing on social media, Kami assists in the creation of marketing collateral, developing presentations, managing social media, assisting with events, and providing reports in addition to managing projects as assigned.
